A British driver born on 22 January 1985 in Manchester, Ben Hanley made his name in single-seaters, joining the Renault F1 young driver programme (2006-2008) and finishing runner-up in the 2007 Formula Renault 3.5 Series. He went on to build his career in endurance racing, notably with DragonSpeed, competing in LMP1 and then LMP2.
