Born in Rome in 1987, Italian driver Francesco Castellacci is a well-established GT and endurance racing specialist. He broke through by winning the 2011 FIA GT3 European Championship at the wheel of a Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 run by AF Corse. Throughout his career he has competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and numerous editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, remaining loyal to Ferrari machinery. He notably finished fifth in the LMGTE Am class at Le Mans in 2023 with AF Corse, before moving into the new LMGT3 category with the Ferrari 296 LMGT3
