John Farano is a Canadian driver born on 8 December 1959 in Toronto. An endurance specialist, he was crowned LMP2 champion of the 2022 IMSA SportsCar Championship. He contested the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2019 at the wheel of an Oreca 07-Gibson in the LMP2 class. Throughout his career he has raced for teams including Tower Motorsports, RLR MSport and Multimatic Motorsports, in IMSA, the European Le Mans Series and Ferrari Challenge. In 2026 he is entered for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with DKR Engineering, driving the number 3 Oreca 07 - Gibson in the LMP2 category.
