Lars Kern is a German racing driver born on 18 November 1987 in Weissach, Baden-Württemberg. The son of a Porsche development engineer, he grew up near the Weissach centre and became one of the brand's leading test drivers, holding several production-car lap records at the Nürburgring. In endurance racing he won the SP-X class at the 2016 24 Hours of Nürburgring, took victory at the 2021 12 Hours of Sebring in IMSA, and won the GTD class at the 2025 24 Hours of Daytona in a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R with AWA.
