Petru Umbrărescu is a Romanian racing driver born in 1993. He made his mark in endurance racing by becoming the first Romanian driver to win a round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), claiming victory at the 2025 6 Hours of São Paulo in the LMGT3 class at the wheel of the Akkodis ASP Team Lexus. During that same 2025 season he finished fifth in the LMGT3 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and ended the LMGT3 championship in third place. In 2026 he contests the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the second consecutive year with AKKODIS ASP TEAM, driving the number 87 Lexus RC F LMGT3 in the LMGT
