PJ Hyett is an American racing driver born in 1983 in Naperville, Illinois. A co-founder of GitHub in 2008, he made his motorsport debut in 2022 and founded the AO Racing team that same year. In 2025 he enjoyed a standout season, claiming the IMSA LMP2 championship and the European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro-Am title. That same year he won the LMP2 Pro-Am class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and secured an overall LMP2 podium. For 2026 he races the No. 99 ORECA 07-Gibson in the LMP2 category with AO BY TF at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, defending his class title.
