Sébastien Bourdais, born in 1979 in Le Mans, is a French driver and four-time consecutive ChampCar champion from 2004 to 2007 with Newman/Haas. After two Formula 1 seasons with Toro Rosso in 2008 and 2009, he returned to American single-seaters and then shone in endurance racing, racking up class wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, notably in LMGTE Pro with the Ford GT in 2016.
