Sheldon van der Linde, born in 1999 in Pretoria, is a South African driver and brother of Kelvin van der Linde. DTM champion in 2022 with BMW M Motorsport, he emerged as one of the fastest drivers in the top German touring series at the wheel of the BMW M4 GT3. A BMW works driver, he joined the Hypercar programme with M Team WRT in the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh from its first FIA WEC season. Versatile, equally strong in sprint racing and long-distance events, he has helped drive the German programme forward.
