Valerio Rinicella is an Italian racing driver born on 18 January 2007 in Rome. A protégé of former Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, he made his name in single-seaters before switching to endurance racing. In 2024-2025 he won the LMP2 title in the Asian Le Mans Series, and in 2025 he finished runner-up in Eurocup-3. A member of Genesis Magma Racing's Trajectory Programme, he contests the 2026 European Le Mans Series with IDEC Sport in LMP2. For his debut at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, Valerio Rinicella shares IDEC SPORT's number 28 ORECA 07 - Gibson in the LMP2 category with Paul Lafarg
